Summer Shipping
Hot + chocolate = a delicious hot drink to be sipped, not a goopy parcel.
Chocolate is sensitive to heat and that means we do things a little differently during the warmer months to preserve the quality of our chocolate.
Between May and October, we ship our chocolate inside lined, well insulated boxes, packed with ice. This protects our chocolate from heat and reduces the risk of products melting. Orders typically also only ship out from Monday – Thursday to reduce the amount of time chocolate sits in delivery trucks and transit. Please note if the weather will be too hot to safely ship, we will hold your order until it is cooler.
By taking these extra precautions we do our best to protect chocolate from melting, but we are not responsible for melted or damaged chocolate once it leaves our factory.
